[quote:494c714213="roofinghorse"]if you can please explain how the live draft will work and about how long it will take[/quote:494c714213]

The draft will be done on Penn's website http://www.penngray.com/draft/. Whoever does not have an ID for this site can be set up by the person who sets it up. Your ID will be your TSN SOM ID. You can make your pick when it is your turn or set up proxy picks in case you are not monitoring the draft. The site will select your highest rated player when it is your turn if you have proxy picks set up thereby not slowing down the draft.

We can pick all 25 players (and a stadium if we want unique stadiums) or just pick 15 or so and AD the remainder.

Anyone who needs a draft site ID let it be known so that your ID can be set up. I have never set up a draft before, only participated in drafts. Is anyone familiar with setting up a draft?

The speed of the draft depends on how many rounds we will live draft and the participation of the 12 people. If 1 or 2 people do not monitor the draft regularly or use proxy picks it can be a long and frustrating process. If we have active participation the draft can be very quick and very fun!

How will the draft order be determined? Is the first pick in the draft the highest or lowest lottery number?

The draft should be an even number of rounds as it would be serpentine. 16 rounds usually works well. One of the picks would be a unique stadium. I would recommend no more than 1 hour for a pick to keep it moving...

I can set it all up and run it if unless somebody else wants to.

If you are in need of managers, I have an 80's credit which I accidentally used last evening while logging into my Team Center. Let me know if you need me. My second round team in the March Madness Tourney is in a bracket that won't start until next Monday so I have time.

IMHO-Live Drafts are the best as long as you can keep them rolling along. I prefer a 2 hour window.

Soooo...? If the league fills tonight do we use tonight's numbers? Do we pick in order of highest lottery number or lowest?

What is the normal way?

We also may only be at 10. mrmdoetkott said he could only do it in July unless he changed his mind.
