Adrian we'd love to have you join our league. We will be using version 11 so your good there and we are determining whcih season(s) to play. The idea of some sort of keeper format has been thrown around and we are trying to find something that everyone will enjoy. Here is what I am leaning towards...

We'll start by playing the 2005 season. this way everyone just has to purchase Version 11 and 2005 comes with it. This will be the initial season in a keeper format where we will play the new year each season after it comes out. Once we have completed the current year, we'll have plenty of time before the next season comes out so we can vote on an older year which is what we have been doing.

ace, I have been reading the posts including those from the old message board to try and get a feel how Netplay works. I'm able to get bits and pieces but is there anywhere that I can look to find out exactly how this works? Also, if I purchased the 11.0 version with the card image option, does that allow me to see all of the cards, including the HOF's and any additional years I might add? What is the difference between the regular and deluxe version? :?

Yes - card image option allows you to see the cards for all the seasons you purchase.

Not sure where your seeing regular and deluxe - on the CD version of the game?

On the old boards, somebody was talking about a deluxe set. I wasn't sure if they were talking about the computer version or the actual game itself.

There are seasons that are labelled Deluxe or Super advanced or something to that effect and they include and use ball park effects where basic seasons do not.

You are already half way there as far as what you need for Netplay, just buying the game. After that participate in the draft set up your Computer Manager settings and try to be available to play 3 series each week

It takes a week with their 2 day delivery. It takes a long time to print out a card with a number on it and is obviously a very expensive process.
