SORRY, THIS IS JUST LAST YRS FORMAT TO COPY AND PASTE FROM

Postby ANDREWLAITURI » Sun Jun 18, 2006 11:07 am

Well I made several aborted attempts at drafting the team and hit a deadend each time so I thought up another method to help me get past the brickwall I kept hitting. It worked well but we'll find out just how well when the post season gets here. I'll either be in it or I'll be preparing my one-liners and off color commentary for my booth job in Rd. 2?! :D

I also went a little different from any other league that I've tried. And, now that I see that I am challenging fellow Redskin-fanatic Riggo Drill I realize that it is an all or nothing thing. If the draft goes my way I could be a challenger, if it doesn't, I'm gonna be viewing rounds 2 and 3 from the sideline and waiting till next year.

Hey Stoney, you think any of these other guys are gonna sack up and join us in the division with Riggo??? If someone doesn't do it we could be sitting here for awhile just waiting. Oh well, you know what they say.... To be the man, you gotta beat the man!! And, it looks like Stoney and I are gonna do it the hard way ([b:e8a9722c36]and, I fully expect us to make a move into round two while Riggo goes home[/b:e8a9722c36]) ... anyone else gonna try it???

I may be a newbie, but I'm gonna talk like a vet!!! Bring it on!!

One thing you can say about the LOTO Tour is that nobody has the easy road to winning it. Every division in every league I've looked at has some wicked matchups!

Hey [b:47d1cfd848]terpfan[/b:47d1cfd848], not only am I a Redskin Fanatic - I'm also a College Park grad (class of '91). Also an Orioles and Bullets fan. I've been exiled to the midwest for the last decade.

As for anyone who wants into my division - have at it. I've been re-classified as a "former" legend. ...although I did fall back on one of my favorite strategies for this league, so we'll see how things work out. 8)

I'll be interested to see the strategy that you are using. I'm not too ashamed to learn from a legend (or former legend). Just as I'm sure there are plenty of coaches in the NFL who are learning from Joe Gibbs (who can be classified as both a legend and a former legend).

While not a College Park grad (I went to Towson or Towson State as it was known then) before exiling myself to North Carolina for the last five years (but at least I get to catch the Terps - went to a couple of football games this year and also my first ACC basketball tournament).

I'm interested to see how things work out with this league as well, I've tried a bunch of different strategies and seen some work very well and some not so well. But, it's a fun game and we'll just have to let the trash talk fly.

C2,

The trash guy won't accept all the trashtalk you're capable of without calling ahead for a special pickup.
