I'd love to do another bracketology, but time on the puter is limited....Mrs. Comando is 40 weeks pregnant, we are expecting sog jr. any time now :D :D :D :D
I've very reluctantly decided to stay with Horner and Wilson, cut free Driessen and Sax, although Sax can truly hit! I've owned Horner twice before, and both times he spent about 45 days on the DL. Wilson will hit at the very bottom of my order, where hopefully he can be on base to advance as Raines posts his .400 BA. I'm in a hitter's ballpark, so that's why I went and got Glenn Davis. Honestly, unless I get Sixto's monster card and a bit of luck, I don't think I'm advancing past this round. Panzer Ace was right, some good players available in the FA, but I didn't have one of the first four slots. Since I had so much money laying around, and not enough good players to allocate it on, I am actually going with 15 hitters and 11 pitchers for the first time. I will of course, cut back by a hitter and probably a pitcher once some reveals come through.

It is going to be that type of season in the Central :shock:
I'm glad my corporate sponsor took down the "hit the bull and get a free steak" sign in right field. Otherwise, I'm sure this sponsor would cancel its corporate suite subscription.
On the other hand, we did open up a nice Beer and "Polish Boy" stand on the left field porch area.
Orel's ready to toss a few and I'm sure Soto has his best HR glare fashioned to open this season.
We'll have our fingers crossed when the band of $.75m merry starters parade to the hill but I'm sure my investment in R3 rated $.75m RPs will pay off in innings tossed. :roll:
On the offense side of the fence, we'll counsel with David Segui on how to make those power numbers jump with a little help from chemistry. And, we can't forget Mr. Strawberry probably has a lead on a few alternative medicine suppliers.

Well, an hour away from the season's start and I'm still not sure who will show up and play on this squad.
The one time I take a homer park, the entire division loads up hitter category ball parks so no advantage in playing with the smaller fences. In fact, huge disadvantage since Murph acts like a big park with very small fences.
Of course, the draft went a little off the plan when I drew only one requested $.75m RP and found myself with a very expensive two man *SP rotation. Notwithstanding the acquisition of Comer and Kison - I've rarely had anything above .500 winning % from these two clowns. As such, this team will be a different circus but with the same clowns.
Hitting-wise, I can't complain too much if you consider I have the all-waiver booby prize infield besides Alan Trammell. I've never used Thompson, Hrbek, or Wallach before and can't imagine that fact being a sign of their desirability.
My outlook says my team [b:1d64cefe34]must[/b:1d64cefe34] hit a more than a few extra HRs than the opposition as well as Carlton Fisk can't turn his glove into a serious liability.
