[quote:f81ad23884="ggapp"]I have only thanks to give to Nythawk who saw fit to trade me the Unit :D[/quote:f81ad23884]

Glaus has been pretty good for me as well and throw in Castillo's solid season(now if I can only get Lowry kick started) and it has been a good trade for both of us.

Your team isnt doing too badly - only 3 games out of the Wild Card ... just bad luck you're in a division where ggapp's squad is on fire.

Mr. BBW came pretty close to sweeping me last night - I won 2 of the games in my last at bat, and all 3 by 1 run only. Just goes to show you can never tell what is going to happen!

Looks like ggapp is starting to cool down at the time sandlot's squad is starting to warm up!

Warriors sweep of nythawk has given me a bit of breathing room in the East, but there are still a lot of games to be played - and every division is still up for grabs - especially the wide open Central!

Every team in the Central has a .500+ record ... wonder if that will last til the end of the season, considering the last week or so is usually intra-divisional games.

ggapp is starting to roll again ... might be too late for sandlotshrink to catch him ... but the Wild Card is still wide wide open!

ggapp's lead has increased to double digits - so barring a collapse by him, or a very strong run by sandlotshrink, it will only be a matter of time before ggapp clinches the West.

However the more interesting story in the West may be whether or not Mr. BBW and/or freakfrosh can avoid 100 losses ... I don't think I've ever seen a league with 2 teams lose 100 games but that could occur here, especially if ggapp & sandy can routinely beat them down the stretch!

Meanwhile the Central remains pretty tight, with the whole division above .500 and all within 5 games of 1st. Can a team from this strong division earn the WC spot - or will the WC go to a team in the East or West which has "weaker" division mates.

Hopefully my squad will keep playing well enough to clinch the East, and ideally pass dr. tax for 2nd best record overall, as I don't think I want to play his squad on the road in the Semis - which would be the case if the season had ended today.
