March Madness Eliminated Live Draft - Full!

Our Mystery Card games - The '70s Game, Back to the '80s, Back to the '90s

If it is still open to discussion, I would vote for no trades once the auction starts. People can trade draft position before draft starts, but I have found that trades sometimes really slow down a draft. Everyone starts postin "X for trade" and then waits the entire 2 hours or overnight to wait and see if anyone says anything.

That brings up another point: usually the 2 hour limit is waived overnight. What will be the case here? For those that dont know, you can create proxies on Penn's site so that if you are not around your pick can still be made.

Thanks for the support Jimmy.

Again, I cannot start with a draft until Sunday. I do not want to proxy my whole draft card.

If you guys need to move forward prior to beginning a draft on Penn's site on Sunday, I will have to bow out.

Thanks,

Mike

Just remember guys...though we are waiting till Sunday for Mike...there is stil plenty of ground to cover.

1) We need a 12th manager
2) If we get the 12th manager, we then get the lottery numbers and develop a draft order
3) Then, the time is opened up for jockying draft positions
4) We need a manager to open up the draft on Penn's site. I'll do it unless I hear from someone that they want to do it.
5) Managers who have never drafted on Penn's sight need to let me know, so I can set them up on the site and send them the password.
6) Since the first 2 rounds will not be on the clock, we can actually begin drafting UP TILL the point that Mike would draft.
7) When Mike returns Sunday and logs onto Penn's sight to draft his first rounder...then the draft will continue.

As you see...there is a lot of ground to cover and as of right now we still haven't completed item 1 which is to get a 12th manager.

Are you required to have been in the first March Madness league?

If not, I would be happy to join as the 12th manager. I was not in the previous tournament. If that is a requirement, tell me and I will rmove myself from the list.

thanks,

Hak

Hey welcome Hakmusic...no previous requirements were necessary so your the 12th man.

The league is filled so we can use Tuesday nights numbers. As previously stated, the draft order will be determined by lowest number to highest.

Is there anyone who has not been on Penn's site? I will need to set you up and send you a password if you haven't.

Here are the states for tonight's Lotto.

We will use tonight's Lotto. Jimmy_C feel free to set up the Draft, thanks for volunteering.

Remember, we will not really draft in earnest until this Sunday, and then most likely go to the 2 hour clock for picks next Monday. We will turn off the Clock at 9 PM at night and back on at 7 AM, unless we have any West coasters, speak up west coasters, we can push back till 9 or 10 AM if needed for you guys.

If we can get the draft complete and teams entered by next Friday, we can crank her up for a Monday July 3 start, if we not we will begin Monday July 10.

Is everyone okay with this timeline?

Oregon doesn't have a pick 3, Ehlekev is going to need to pick another State.

We can use the first three numbers of the last (10PM) pick 4 for Oregon.

Or Ehlekev can pick another, if he sees and picks before the lottos start running...

I'll still do the draft but if there is someone that wants in it's okay to replace me before tonight's lottery picks.
