[quote:b4dc19b58f="frannyzoo"]Adrian do we have poker ready for the palatial suite on said evening? Just asking... [/quote:b4dc19b58f]

Absolutely. Although, I'm only supplying the room. Youse guys bring the cards and chips...and alcomahol...and...

At this point, though, I don't know if the room will be in my name or Bobby's. But by Thursday evening, most of you should know where the room is. I suppose I might know where it is too.

Rob: I've been switching some of my CD collection to Itunes in recent days, and combined with the good ol' Napster days I'm up to about 20 gigs and 4200 tunes. But no Def Leppard. I'll carry the tunes, but if you have better than awful speakers bring 'em along, por favor.

my speakers are not really "portable" ..... I LOVE my music and so my speakers are basically monsters.....well at least the SUB..... so can't help ya there.....

I am not sure how much music I now have I'll guess 50,000+ songs .... more then 3600 albums..... no clue on the gigs.... but a 200 gig HD won't hold it all

so you could say I have a few..... in Def Leppard I have 6 albums .... including a "gold" studio quality CD ... a master ..... for one of the Albums.... I also have a "gold" for...... Dark Side of the Moon

Rob...well you won that pissing contest, hands down. I just tried out my crappy speakers and they are, as advertised, crappy. I run through my home stereo here, so I "invested" about $2.99 for some POSs. Ah well, we'll figure out something when we get there.

As for Def Leppard and gold quality mastered CD whaddyacallits...those terms seem strangely oxymoronic to me, but we can fight over "classic rock" over a few hundred cocktails and some hold 'em.

Adrian brings up a good point with poker chips...hopefully someone has those clay chips we hunter/gathered at Orleans...I don't seem to have any.

I actually have 2 sets of puter speakers..... a set of Klipsch 5.1's that were roughly $400......... and a cheapy pair of Logitech's that are SO DANG good my others are disconnected....... those were only around $100........ my home ones.....Polks are too large by a mile ..... and I gave away the couple of cheapo sets that I had laying around.

Bobby said that he would try to remember to have his IT guy bring the poker chips with the computers to Adrian's room Thursday afternoon. So there is hope, but if not, I'm sure the hotel store will sell some for an unreasonable price. And franny, we may need to comandeer your wheels for a liquor run . . .
