Hmm actually it seems my team started performing stronger once the rest of you got all quiet ... so feel free to stay on mute for the rest of the season. :wink:

I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank the owners who gave up too quickly on Tanana & Van Slyke. ;) I've had the same thing occur to me on a regular basis (drop a player who was struggling only to watch him excel elsewhere), so it is nice to be on the other end for a change. :)

I'm a litlte disappointed Parker isnt getting any MVP love, but Sandberg is, so that is good. Van Slyke is on another mini-roll, he's hit in 10 games consecutively, and last night had a big night - going 8 of 14, with an RBI in every game, and a couple of triples, an HR & SB.

Well 7 of my last 9 series are against rookssa1958 & Sykes, so if we're to either win the WC or catch Sykes for the Division title, it will be key to win those series - like we did by sweeping Genuine Risk last night. :)

Just realized that Tanana has pitched 2 consecutive CGSO's! Allowed the exact same # of hits in each game & struck out the same # of batters. :)

Last day to make changes - Not that I expect any such thing to occur but please no obvious firesales (dumping high priced players for .75 players) so that the owners returning for a Season III have something to work with when we start. :)

Season III will probably take place in mid-July.
