[/color:132b0cc06e] I would like to do it, but won't be able to till Monday.

If you would hold a spot, that would be great. If you don't that would be understandable.

Its up to you, just let me know [/color:132b0cc06e]

[quote:00643f1cb5]I'm curious what exactly is Strat-O-Matic baseball??[/quote:00643f1cb5]

How do you begin? If you're a baseball purist that loves past seasons and playing "what if I was in charge?" then this game is for you.

Strat-o is an internet port of a very popular simulation game that's been in existence since the 50's and 60's. Strat-o-matic uses dice rolls and probability to simulate past seasons in a 162 game race for the world series. Every single player is simulated and has a card that was developed to reproduce their stats across a season.

Strat-O-Matic's official website is: http://www.strat-o-matic.com

You can read a lot about how the game engine works there.

TSN offers several different styles of gaming in strat-o: 2002, 2003, 2004 single seasons as well as an all 80's version where the player pools span a decade's worth of service. Ultimately, if you like being an arm chair GM and manager in baseball, this game is for you.

Wow, [b:0231c6b64a]censored[/b:0231c6b64a], sorry to leave you hanging! Didn't see your query until just now. Good thing [b:0231c6b64a]bjs73[/b:0231c6b64a] was around.

Anyway, you obviously do alot of sports gaming, so why don't you give it a try? They used to do free 21 game trials, which would be a good way to get your feet wet. Not sure if they're still available, but you could always email TSN and tell them you're interested. They might even give you a free credit!

I'm gonna throw this team I named the [b:b12d845562]Hoboken Experts[/b:b12d845562] into an advanced autodraft league. It will take way too long to get 12 guys to come to these new boards until info-crap is dead.
