Totally jealous that I can't be in this group to knock Munich Man from 107 to 89. I am quite certain of what my strategy against that team would be righty starters Joe Morgan[/size:38c6664a82]But I really feel that might be a little bit inappropriate to comment with teams not selected[/size:38c6664a82][/size:38c6664a82]Babe Adams, Sam Rice[/size:38c6664a82][/size:38c6664a82]It seems that while his pitchers are all goodall throw righty[/size:38c6664a82][/size:38c6664a82]there might be something there to take advantage of.Mick Cochrane,Red Rolfe, Cecil Cooper[/size:38c6664a82][/size:38c6664a82]So if your pitching is all righty Howie Camintz Ed Ruelbach[/size:38c6664a82]the hitting can be lefty up to you

Best of luck guys, Penngray will beat him[/size:38c6664a82]
Charlie

Instead of playing Munich Man's worst team next I suggest if someone beat Munich Man he gets his best team against the group, since it is such a great group of managers Penngray[/size:38c6664a82]

 mr. Subliminal indeed!

Charlie's right. Although this is my team with the best record, I certainly wouldn't call it my best team, or the team I would put together if I were building the "perfect" team (if there is such a thing). I really like this team, though, especially, since it was pretty early in ATGII, there are a few players who don't get too much use anymore, at least by me (Evans, Lown, Flood, Money, although I don't know why). Looking at their performances, I think I will have to revisit them!

This is going to be fun. Anyone up for an over/under on wins for my boys? I think Charlies 89 prediction is pretty good. If this team wins 100 games again, I'll buy you ALL a beer and send it to your houses.

I like Charlie's idea. League winner uses his best record team in the next one. As to waivers or frenzy I prefer waivers but if the league wants frenzy that's ok. There's enough talent. I can't frenzy but I I don't mind drafting and picking over the leavings. After Halloween frenzy does not pose a problem for the future.

League Name: Beat Munich_Man's Best
80M, NO DH, and frenzy.........

MUNICH_MAN cannot change his team throughout the season...drafts 25 and then ends up with his 23 player roster.....

Rick's protected players....

West Side Park '06: Record--107-55

Pitchers (10)
Alexander, P.
Brown, T.
Hughson, T.
Speer, K.
Frock, S.
Leal, L.
Beggs, J.
Lown, T.
Dayley, K.
McEnaney, W.

Hitters (13)

Carter, G
Pena, T.
Money, D.
Johnston, D.
Collins, E.
Weaver, B.
Smith, O.
Alley, G.
Jones, C.
Rivera, J.
Flood, C.
Moore, T.
Evans, D.

This is Munich_Man's team for the entire season--only changes is he gets to drop 2 players from the required 25 man roster...no trades, drops, etc...

[b:79d634ae5f]East-----Munich_Man, penngray, Nev, and Grindi

Central-----Bobby, treyomo, ACEVENTURA, and zippy

WEST-----Ed Bazo, doc x, tkl33, and Odyssey Tiger[/b:79d634ae5f]

Any other thoughts are always welcomed....If not, then the league can be set up by someone in the East.....Thanks...Bobby

I think continuing the league (champ places his best record team) is a great idea and maybe even dropping the manager with the worst record to allow others to come on board....We should have continual dialogue for the future leagues.....

I like that idea Bobby. It will be nice working my way down my list of 100-game winners every season to see if they can repeat the feat. :P

League has been created, I will PM the other Beasts of the East with the password.

And when it's time to invite don't be shy to invite me. Ironic it was Rick who invited me into Mr Leo's tournament. I will point out Mr. Leo was the first one eliminated, though with that team I don't think it's possible Rick will be first one out.
