my starters E.R.A-7.68 and the relievers are an incredible 2.89 E.R.A.(They have given up only 2 HR's in 59.1 innings-both by Wise)I also have 4 pitchers in the top 9 in ERA so hopefully they can maintain this pace for a whole season

My starters are pitching right at what I expected, but my [b:2164747193]relievers[/b:2164747193] are sucking big time, performing way way below expectations. These numbers are mind-boggling:

Valverde 6.00 2.33
Howry 6.99 1.89
Shields 9.87 2.37
Gonzalez 6.09 1.35
Eldred 4.30 1.57

Eye Poppin' stats of the day:

New Mexico Zephyrs' Jim Edmonds is batting .364 with a .488 OBP and a SLG of 1.000. Of his 12 hits 6 are Homers.

And right behind him, also with the Zephyrs, Chase Utley is batting .393 with a OBP of .448 and a SLG. of .951

New Mexico Zephyrs has earned the Mr. Eyes Popped of the day:

Jeep,

Just out of curiousity - what player did Frank M. take with his Brazelton claim - and did he have to add him during waivers, or was it ok to add that player post-waivers.

If post-waivers - how long a time should I give Rigged Splits (winner of the T. Redding prize in our league) to add his player?

making most of hits

E. Perez of the Anasazis has 7 hits....all 7 are homers!

Arryl - I think Frank took Ensberg and he placed him as 1st waiver claim and all other 11 managers told not to claim him on waivers.

Arryl, it was Ensberg (as Bunbury noted) and I noticed he put him as his last waiver pick. That wasn't necessary though since no one else could claim him. I would suggest your Mgr. add him ASAP, but upon reflection, I don't guess it's imperative, unless he's planning on dumping him, which although I didn't foresee that happening, I guess it would be ok.

Was that a long sentence or what?!
