Also congrats to BJS on his impressive first year showing. Your damn Mookies made me sweat all seaon long, even knocking me out of 1st briefly in the last week. Came down to the last series and fortunately Jack Morris and Harold Baines were up to the task.

To those who didn't make it, this was probably the year to finish lower in the standings, given the importance of the 87 draft. As YF has pointed out, 88 will be the last entry draft and a pretty quick one at that.

We should decide before this entry draft whether we're going to play a 1990 season, with no new players and many retired.

I'll start an 87 thread so the bottom 4 can post their Pick 3's over the next week.

How did the number of .75 pitchers go down in 1990? Regardless, it looks like 89 will be the last year. Looks like it will be as interesting as 1981 was, too.

Correction. There are 70 .75m pitchers. I was factoring in the years also.

Guys, I regret to say this, but I don't think I can do the awards this year. My family is in the middle of a temporary move in which our home is getting work done on it and the conditions inside of it will be unlivable. Thus, we moved out this morning and are staying at my parents place nearby. We likely will be here for at least three months and are currently trying to get settled in.

Unfortunately, this means I will have little time to write up the All-Star/Awards selections this season. Usually, my selection process takes some time and I'd be doing a disservice to players and managers if I "half-assed" it.

Having said that, this year's awards look pretty clear cut. I agree 100% with BC's selection of Key (CY), Ripken (MVP) and Davis (ROY).

Again, I'm sorry for those of you who were looking forward to my picks. I'll try and get them in next year.
