Amen brother - still got Burnt Weeny Sandwich, Weazels Ripped My Flesh, and Uncle Meat on Vinyl - still play them occasionaly on the old Phillips turntable!!! Don't know what it is, but vinyl just has a "vintage" sound 8)

I'm 26. I thought I was one of the youngsters in the community, but I had no idea that anyone would assume that most people were over 35. The first time I played was in 1989, when my dad's second wife bought the game for me and shipped it out here - so I found Strat totally by accident, but there's been no looking back. I bought the set based on 1989 with allowance money, got '91 and '92 for birthdays, bought '96 working my first job, and found the web community in early 2005, right before the 2004 cards came out. And... you guys really cared to hear me babble on and on about all that. I did always wonder what the Blue Jays might have done with Bernie Williams (circa '96) patrolling centerfield, but then again, I have no friends, and imagination is the only thing that keeps me going.

Sorry, Frank, but I was born before you were, not long after Dewey beat Truman. (FYI Jeep, Methuselah was already losing his hair by then! :evil: )

And yes, I own the first Mothers vinyl, saw Jimi and Janis live, and even recall my parents coming home from a Saturday night barn dance near our small town in Oregon, raving about the live music by some traveling band with a trumpet player named Louis Armstrong.

But, incredibly, I've met some geezers here even more ancient than me!

I'm not exactly sure how we score the wives...I married mine several years before yours was born. (She took me to bed on our first date...I've never been able to out-run her since, and she's even older than I am!)

Mesquiton - I figured if you were around longer than me you'd know that you don't score wives - they score you!!! :wink: I meant to get back to you earlier but got preoccupied listening to Exiles by the Stones - love the Bobby Keyes sax solo on Rip This Joint!!! Saw the Stones durring the tour of the America's in '71 at the Indianapolis Convention Center. Seen them twice since the last time in San Diego in 1995. You know you're old when Charlie Watts turned 65 on June 2 - Hell, the Beaver (Jerry Mathers) turned 58 the same day!!! Christ, are we getting old - or what?
