Segui hurt, dumped; picked up later, still injured???

Fragile David Segui went down nearly two weeks ago for me and I dumped him. Today I picked him up and HAL tells me he's still injured??? What's up with that? Lineup card has that deadly "I" next to his name and the statistics page does too, but the card does not. HELP!

Based on past experience and memory which is not what it once was.

It will continue to show the I until game time to test your nerve. But at game time it will calculate his availability and decide he is healthy and use him.

I thought if you drop a player his injury status will be put on hold until another team picks him up? Example: Let's say a player who was injured for 15 games was dropped in Game 4 of the season. If the same player was picked up in game 141 of the season he would still be down for 15 games.

Not true Wavy. He would be healthy after 15 games played, even though he's sitting in Free Agents.

Segui's triumphant return

Postby TomSiebert » Sat Oct 08, 2005 6:05 am

Yup, he was healthy, and promptly went 5 for 11 with a walk. After 57 games, he's played 17 w/ 67 AB: .328/.370/.423 w/ 8 runs, 9rbi. :D

Thanks for the help, everybody!
