My team, the Penn State Neanderthals, played in the Baker Bowl. It was a hitting team -- there was no salary ceiling, and we drafted for a 16 team format. Due to the limited numbers of games, we had no injuries.

So here are the basics:

I'd say the MVP was Lou Gehrig, who put on a monster hitting clinic full of doubles, triples and homers. I'd also give a lot of credit to the bullpen and its ability to match up with the opposing hitters.

The fact is, there were so many good managers in the tournament. I happened to get the lucky rolls. Like Catfish Hunter once said, "The sun shines on every dog's as** now and then."

It was a lot of fun!
