Thank you guys....he was ready to leave us and he is not in pain anymore.

I can check in a little so I'll keep proxies loaded (I see one was already taken). Things should be back to normal Tuesday.

Postby Billings Ballers » Sat Jun 24, 2006 11:11 pm

just got back from a Billings Mustangs {Red's Class A team}baseball game here in Billings had the opportunity to visit with 2 legends of the of the 80s Burleson and Bair.Burleson is the manager and Bair the pitching coach. Maybe if they are still available when my picks come up i should draft them

It is cool that you got to meet these two guys. Burleson had a nice career and he played for my Red Sox to boot but Doug Bair a "legend" of the 80's?

BTW, Penn's site is working just fine. We are waiting for Buckaroo who must be busy this weekend so far.

Clock...

Postby Jimmy_C » Sun Jun 25, 2006 7:31 am

I'll turn the 2 hour clock on tomorrow morning. It will go on pretty early because I will be very busy tomorrow morning, so no matter what time it starts treat it as though it started 8am EST.

Please remember that if the person before you exceeds the 2 hours and you want to pick...you can. As previously noted however, proxies will not fire...you need to pick manually in that event.

I'll turn the clock off at 8pm.

The site is still up and running just fine. I just checked it again. I know you know the address but try the above link anyway. Good Luck.

Postby roofinghorse1 » Sun Jun 25, 2006 10:02 am

when you turn the clock on tomorrow, you say the proxies won,t fire then..
so do i miss my turn(s) until i get home from work  (no computer up on that roof) and get to go back and make my pick(s) when i get home :( ?
or will i have to wait until its my turn to get caught up on my picks or will i lose my picks  ....just inquiring that,s all......

Roofinghorse...your proxies will fire when it's your turn. However, if the person before you misses their turn (took longer than 2 hours to select for whatever reason) then you are free to pick. That is the event where your proxy will not fire...you need to do it manually.

Parkav...I'm not great with computers, however:

1) Try the link on page 1 of this thread to access Penn's site. I had an old address for Penn's site in my favorites and though it used to work...it no longer does.

2) Try a friends computer. If it works there then you may have a spyware program on your computer that is goofing it up?? If thats the case you may want to try a system restore to a previous day's settings.

3) If all else fails, use the thread to get one of the guys to get you through short-term until you can solve it
