Scabs league----All players under 2 mil

Postby LARRYLANG » Wed Jun 28, 2006 9:27 am

Ever wonder how mostly subs would do given a chance to be a regular player?? this may be a league for you....Only players 2 mil or less are eligible for play.....12 round serpentine draft for players and stadium will also be selected starting in the second round with team 12 selecting his stadium then his player...team 11 his stadium and player...etc....Each park may be selected only once..no multiple stadiums...At the conclusion of 12 rounds the rest of the players 2 mil or less are available for each managers draft clique....Anyone interested...Lets do it..

I'll play in any league Larry and Randy can concoct! I'm assuming there are enough players under $2M to build 12 teams.....right?? Scabs league sounds very interesting. Of course some of my regular teams could be considered Scab teams!! 8)

Yeah Kev---there are plenty of pitchers and hitters to field all 12 teams under 2 mil. Who'll win the mvp in this league??

MVP: Aubrey Huff

Cy Young: Jason Johnson :D

God help the guys who drafts Joe Johnson other than Larry! Larry will not stop until he gets him. 8)

By the way, we are about half way through a similar season in the 1969 game (Theme of the Month Club) in which all of the guys are below $3M.
Hawk Taylor is the MVP (on my team :D ) so far after 69 games. Bob Veale is the Cy Young leader so far.
I have the lowest hitting payroll but am leading the league in runs scored. I only have 4 guys who are over $1m!!!

Cool Kev---Bob Veale !!! That is neat....This kind of league should be a challenge for you card readers out there....Imagine the #'s Willie Mo Pena can put up with 600 AB instead of 300...Kindof makes you want to get in doesn't it  I put out feelers in the leagues I'm currently in...Maybe we can pull this one off...I would love to do this one. And the best part---12 round draft and no duplicate stadiums

Welcome Terry. You must pick a state for the pick 3 lottery that will be used the night the league fills to determine draft order. Pelzer will announce if the order will be low to high or high to low on the lottery results to get the order.
