Oh yeah.... Nap Lajoie... been waiting for him.
How about some of the other forgotten/missing greats?
Jack Chesbro, George Sisler, Bob Feller, any Waner, Ralph Kiner, Fergie Jenkins, Rod Carew, and so on
Speaking of Carew....
how about the 1977 Twins. People have forgotten about the Twins of this era. Maybe there's good reason.... but.... for Strat.....
None of the roster currently exists in Strat ATG
Carew, 1B, 151 games, 10e; .388ba, .449obp, 23sb, 68xbh, 0-g inj risk
Bostock, LF-CF, .336ba, .389obp, 16sb, 62xbh, 3-g inj risk
Hisle, LF-CF, .302ba, .369obp, 28hr, 36doubles, 3-g inj risk
Wynegar, C, .714ops, 3-g inj risk
Glenn Adams, backup LF-RF, .376obp, 6hr and 17-2b in 269ab,
Goltz, SP, 3.36era, would probably by 8* or 9* (29 starts, 7.9ip/start), 1.24whip,
Tom Johnson, RP, R2 maybe R3 (146 2-3ip), 3.13era, 1.36whip
Lots of flotsam and jetsam too, but gotta get a Carew in here, plus a healthy, cheap C.
