I like your team alot. With the exception of Buck Weaver, I have fielded most of that group together successfully a number of times, but often in a more neutral field. I'd consider a replacement for Furillo, though. His #HR on 7 and 8 will be a waste in your park.

I actually love Weaver here. He has been gold for me in nuetral and small parks. Great value and great production for pennies! I would look for Dawson in CF if available but other than that, looks good and pitching is fine.

I would put Stan in LF and get a better D 1B . You've got Ozzie and Red , may as well have a decent D man at 1B . Hernandez is on the FA. You already have Collins as a backup . So its Shoeless , who will miss a ton of games or Hernandez at 1B who will miss a few games and offers superior D at 1B and decent obp , doubles and walks . Plus you get a few bucks to spread around to improve other places .

Please tell me you're not going to consider dropping Joe Jackson to pick up Keith Hernandez. That may be the single worst piece of advice I've seen on the boards in quite awhile.

no i am not what i ended up doing was dropped the slow running oniel for gibson and upgraded dawson in cf instead of dom. i get more production in cf and gibson has better base speed. may give up some steals but in my parkk maybe wont hurt so bad. and still have near 2 mil to tinker with

Bunze,

Lineup looks pretty good, here are your numbers:

OBP vs RH 0.418
SLG vs RH 0.456
OPS vs RH 0.873
HR Rate vs RH 1.1
BPHR vs RH 14

OBP vs LH 0.394
SLG vs LH 0.496
OPS vs LH 0.890
HR Rate vs LH 2.8
BPHR vs LH 24

Not sure of the SP mix in your division, if there are some good LHs, you may want to consider a move. Not sure what moves to make, roster looks pretty solid.

Speed = 15.3 and defense at 11 are good numbers.

Not sure why you have both Leff and Richert. It would also be nice to have a big stud SP if available. Depending on division matchups you might want to consider:

Moving via trade or drop one of Boyd or Kaat to get Hunter or Sanderson (with cheapy hitters park SP)

Leff to Bahnsen, use Giusti and Richert as SU & CL, Bahnsen as long RP and Bair as mopper

Pollet or Hughson to Camnitz.

Did not run the numbers, but it seems to add up. :D

Best of luck, sschu

ty sschu, i'll give camnitz a try. like that idea, pollett does better as a 2 usually then he does as a 1
