Gulf League NL ONLY chat thread

Postby Ducapa » Tue Jul 04, 2006 8:36 pm

Back from my trip. Unfortunately I am going to have to bail on this league, sorry :( Thanks for having me in the first Gulf league this season, hope to strat with you guys again!

. He's meat (IL)`80m, no dh, 26 round live including unique stadia
2. SGT D (NY)
3. BalmerBaseball (NJ) 80MM, no dh, 26 rounds live, including unique NL-only stadium (last year it was a mess with the AL/NL only autodraft, remember?)
4.
5. ElkoSkipper is my name for Penngray's site (Florida Cash 3 - I'll defer to Meat to make sure everyone has a state with a pick 3 draft); salary limit of $80 million - average of the highest paid possible 25-man rosters is $79 million, so early round bargain-hunters are warned that they might not be able to use it all; 26 rounds including unique NL stadiums (otherwise HAL leaves AL player lumps of coal in your stocking).
6. kramed (Kansas) - Mark is on vacation this week, but he's going to play; I talked tohim on the phone yesterday. He wants NL/no dh/$80MM salary/unique stadium -- but I don't know how many rounds for the draft.
7. Taters - 80 mil, no DH, unique stadium, full live draft, unique NL stadiums (Minnesota pick 3 lottery)
8. Terry101 (NM) Already set up on Penn's. 80 mil sounds good. NL only. Unique NL stadium. At least 15 rounds. Stadium drafted any time during the draft.

3. I will be on vacation from july 26th- aug 3rd so I will not be available for live draft during that time

good to have you rgim....and we follow this with an a-l only league, so you'll have the advantage there. if we fill by this weekend, we'll look to get up and picking early next week...like to shoot for using sunday's lottery if we're full by then, and then can start picking monday or whatever day we fill. im gonna start putting membrs in on penn's sight. if I set up the league, does that mean I get squatters rights of theme name, in which case it'd be global warming? 8)

Do you think we will do 15 or 26 rounds? he's meat, your call on the name of the league. How about State of Fear? Anti global warming theme.
