The Los Angeles Dodgerrors have joined the West
(I think with that dreaded #11 road-trip schedule!)

One more (Sykes)... and we go tonight!

Sykes, Sykes, Sykes... lol.

Guess we'll have to remember that the "Hoboken Nationales" actually plays in the Astrodome... maybe "HO"boken = "HO"uston may help us!

I had my team created long before the request to name the teams was made. I have 90+ 80's teams and name them immediately upon joining a league on the boards. Sorry.

Al Oliver Snafu

Postby YountFan » Sat Jul 08, 2006 2:33 pm

It has been pointed out that there was an error in the list of NL players in that the great Al Oliver was assigned to the American League, when in fact according to the rules, he should be a NL guy.

How do we want to hanlde this? I suggest we allow Mr Oliver to be picked up in waivers and assume his rightfull place in the National League. However, some people may have drafted Oliver in the live draft had he been available.

But if no one has strong feelings against it I'm going to to life Olivers ban and make him available in the league.

Please respond on the message boards.

even though I have the 10th waiver spot... I say "let him into waivers". I'm sure anyone who wants him will have a crack by waiver, trade, etc.
