When's the next SOM On-line poker party?

Sunday nights are usually decent for me. Friday nights also not too bad....other nights it just depends, but I am on Pacific time and sometimes can't play until 9pm or so....

Hey guys, count me in. Sunday nights would be fine with me (9 p.m. ET or later). Friday and Saturday nights would be okay as well. I'm prefer no larger than a $50 buy-in, but I also would prefer we don't play no limit. I just don't like the all-in feature.

If you guys haven't already done so, you ought to check out this site:

www.freefiftydollars.com.

If you register there, they will give you $50 to play at partypoker.com. I signed up Friday morning, had my cash by Friday afternoon, and lost it all by this afternoon. But it was fun playing with their money.

There are conditions, of course. You can't cash the money out until you have played a minimum amount of 'raked' hands. In other words, you pretty much have to keep playing until you lose it. Obviously their goal is to get you addicted so you'll keep coming back and losing more money, but that's besides the point. But you don't have to give them a credit card or anything. You do have to give them a valid phone number, and they'll call you to confirm the number before they give you the cash. But it was really pretty easy, and it was a lot of fun losing their money. It was a good way to whet my appetite on this and realize that I won't make any money playing poker. It's just got to be for entertainment.

Sounds like Sunday nights at 9 pm EST is the way to go. I can't do it tonight, but will look into it late next week for possibly next Sunday if we can get a few others. $10 or $20 buy-in? I'd vote NL or PL instead of Limit.

I can do Sunday. $20 no limit works.

How long do these games go? I have an early flight on Monday.

A 9 player tournament will probably take up to 2 hours.

Let's make next Sunday night official. We can take up to 9 players, put the word out!

I don't think I'll be able to set one up tonight as I may or may not be back in time. Definitely PS. I'll e-mail this week to try and get authority to set up a private tny. 9+players would be great.

T. Rich the plan was for next Sunday. Can you play then?

Jaser, definitely try and set it up. You won't need to use your FPP points to set it up, you just need to have 2000 over the span of your time there to do it.

This thread seems to be moving slow also. If any of you are in leagues with any of the guys who have posted here, or of you have their emails, try and contact them throughout the week to set-up a game sunday. Thanks!
