These players appear on 2 teams and may cause a conflict. If that's the case they should go to the team they batted the most for.

If teams are short players, we should allow them to add players who will appear on their 2005 rosters and who are still available.

Also may want to give non-playoff teams 2 supplementals in the 1st round draft and 3 if the team had less than 81 wins. The schedule will call for a steady diet of the high caliber teams, it's going to be tough for teams like Toronto to compete (unless they add Bonds).

honestly I do not expect to compete... and I knew that when I picked Toronto..... so no problem there.. but as soon as one of you cut a SP with around 200 IP.. I am on that player !!!!!!! :)

My supplemental pick will have to be a SP also. The team I plan on taking is weak in that department. That's one of the reasons I say we should be able to add 2 guys if we are not a playoff team and 3 for the have nots. I wouldn't wait on anyone cutting any pitchers or anyone for that matter. It's my understanding we should keep our entire roster in order to reach 40. That's why I suggest we add players who will be on the team in 2005.

You make some good points, if a team is not able to fill some needs we'll have to come up with some options for them. I want to avoid too many picks from the undrafted franchises for two reasons. First, I don't want All star teams just the ability for all teams to compete. Second, I think this format is going to be a lot of fun and if we keep enough good players on other teams it should be easy to expand the league for future years. We'll figure out something if we run into it. 8)
