I'm continuing to win series' and chopping away at the guys in front of me in the standings. Pedro and Dontrelle are now pitching as expected, and I'm getting more clutch hits.

Sometimes I (and I think many do this) forget this is a dice game. There's going to be bad stretches (most of the time) with every team, you just have to battle through them.

Unfortunately my bad stretch (and it was a hugely bad stretch) was at the beginning of the year. Hopefully this team resembles more the current version, and not the early season version. :)

Boy, it wasn't easy finding this thread. :shock:

My team has forged its way into the WC lead, and nipping at the heels of the Boozers to boot. Looks like this will be a knock-down-drag-out to the finish. :)

Additionally, my small ball team has 129 SB's so far. :) :wink:

Jack I knew I was in[b:9c3a52775f] trouble[/b:9c3a52775f] when I looked at my record last night from my 9 active teams (14-13), and the first two teams I checked (I go in order oldest team to new team one at a time) both swept. That made my remaining 7 teams have an 8-13 record, so any team from there on winning a series was remote. That was a mouthful, wasn't it. :shock: :wink:

Meanwhile, I can't believe Vargas lost. Windsprints for him today. :lol:

No one wants to play the [b:ecd51c60c4]Twinrioles[/b:ecd51c60c4] right now! Are they hot or what. The first half of the season they were mediocre, but not anymore as they have surged to the WC lead, one game over the Birdbacks, two games over my squad.

The Divisional leaders look strong, it'll take a similar surge to catch them, with 8 days to go.

Do I dare say anything? Well I'm gonna risk it cause this squad is on fire at the moment, winning 13 out of their last 14. A 7-game win streak followed now by a 6-game streak to move to within 1 game of the Boozers, who had a comfortable lead most of the season.

All I can say is I hope my guys can keeep up the momentum for 12 more games and hopefully, the playoffs. 8)

Talk about keeping the pressure on, I win 2 of 3 but lose a game to both my Divisional Rival and my closest WC challenger, Terp Fan.

9 games to go, anything can happen.

Anywho, 6 games left, I have a 1 game lead in the WC over Terp Fan with Hendrix now only 2 games back after he swept, and Ado Jake saying he's not ready to leave the party yet with a sweep of his own.
