Sean was around on Sunday and I know he will not have an issue with NH.

Sean used NH in the '87 draft. I'd expect that he would prefer to see move things move forward and that NH would be fine.

Postby roofinghorse » Tue Jul 11, 2006 2:05 pm

with sean having a proxy NH state, are we going thru with getting this league started now or are we gonna wait on the start of the back to 87 season?
The (almost champs w/o a manager) millions are ready to load into the west......

will we be running both teams at the same time?

Who you calling a gentle man!

I was looking at the players and I don't know who to pick...Oh there are some 'who not to picks', but there are at least 12 keepers. Some teams are great in the early 80's others the late 80's. And if you could get certain combinations you'd wish BC had kept the $100m cap.

The presure will really be on the guy with the #1 pick! Even the top 2 or 3.

#1 pick looks obvious to me. It gets debatable after that. I definitely think I know which teams should go in the top 12 and I'm betting that they don't.

Picking late in the draft could have some real benefits.

Team Naming

Postby YountFan » Tue Jul 11, 2006 6:53 pm

I'd like to see the teams named with the teams on mind. Say I pick Cleveland and Texas. I could be the CLETEX Stumpbusters, or skyes could be Hoboken RangerIndians, or TEXCLE Jablowmi XIV, and the list goes on.

This would help us rememebr what teams we have and let everyone else know also. It makes trading easier and roster maintenance too.

Other suggestions

BC, have #1 team in mind too. We can compare notes after the draft.

Agree with the naming thing -- of course Sykes will probably have to go with one of his 50+ pre-named teams.... unless we make him change it.
