Best/Worst Value or Performance

I used E. Perez and Ryan Klesko here as a platoon at 1st and for the money, They are doing decent for me. It was kind of Crazy with the defensive liability, but really isn't all that bad.

[quote:238cf73ebd="rgimbel"]sorry shelton was terrible for me much worse than ryan howard ever could be. [/quote:238cf73ebd]

that's a very scary thought. After 44 games, though, shelton is doing ok (so far):

.326 BA, .374 OBP, 9 HRs, 30 RBIs.

As opposed to my most recent Howard (who is actually on a small roll since he was dropped to 7th in the lineup):

.262 BA, .317 OBP, 21 HRs, 52 RBIs, and 114 Ks in 98 games as a platoon vs RHP.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Ellis has been great the two or three times I used him including Coors and Petco. Texiera is stinking out the joint for though in a RFK facing a good amount of RH pitchers.

Under the right circumstances, Marcus Thames is the best value. In a power park, in a power league, he will give you vastly more than the $.58 you pay for him.

I've struggled with all of the high dollar/low WHIP pitching this year--Pedro, Sheets, Halladay, et al. I finally got Clemens and am anxious to see how he does. I've had Maddux in three or four leagues now and for the money he has been pretty steady; Weaver and Escobar have also been surprisingly good for how far R they are balanced.

Offensively--Edmonds has been almost exactly to card if you can stand the injuries; Ensberg has been stellar. Shelton, Randa, Peralta and Michael Young have all done well for me in multiple leagues. I love Murton; Ronny Cedeno and John Rodriguez are steals and have done exceptionally well for me on almost every team.

Offensive losers: Delgado has been wildly strong in one league, HORRIBLE in two others. Chad Tracy has yet to live up to his card in four leagues.

Pitching is where I've had the most inconsistencies and gripes...

I've had great results with Ryan Howard in a left-handed hitters park, playing him only against right-handers. Platoon him with someone like Lance Niekro
