Either way, I'm going to be offline for a while. I need to get dinner ready and there's a HUGE electrical storm going on right now, and I don't like to be on the compuiter in case the power goes out.

let's have Semper go ahead and make the picks himself. Who knows if/when Day will resurface.

I'll send to him.

Semp, let us know when you pick.

I like option 3. Keeps everything in synch and within Penn's software.

Niners - Is it still raining in upstate New York? I was back in Ithaca in early June for a class reunion and it rained the entire weekend. Ugh! Give me that California sunshine anytime. :P

You were in Ithaca and you didn't tell me???

I only live an hour away, I'd have popped down to visit.

I graduated form Ithaca College.

Anyway, Yes it's raining again  .

The southern teir (south and east of Syracuse) has been hit VERY Hard. Parts of several counties have been declared national disaster areasdue to flooding. In fact the BC open, a golf tourney in the Bighampton area had to be moved closer to Syracuse because of the flooding.

I debated whether to call you or not, but my weekend was a real whirlwind and I flew in and out of Rochester instead of Syracuse to save a few bucks. I would have definitely let you know had I flown through Syracuse.

I'll be back in 5 years! Perhaps we can hoist a cold one to toast 10 years of SOM.

BTW - I was a Cornell Johnson School MBA grad in 1991. IC always had the better looking girls so I spent some time in the Commons, but most of my social life was spent in Collegetown.

Small world, isn't it?

Picks made and I will establish a few proxies for this evening as I'm out for a few drinks on mid-town tonight.

Otherwise, I'm still trying to think through Day's strategy on his picks as he had a park in mind just not sure which one.

Thanks for steppin' in semp.

Wineman, I certianly understand a busy schedule, don't we all.

I have to say though MBA form Cornell, I'm impressed...

I too spent plenty of time on the commons and graduated IC in '92, hell we may have been in the same bars. I used to frequent Macawbers and the Moonshadow Tavern. Of course if you were trolling for women you were probably at the meat market that was Plums.

I STILL miss dinners at Joe's and Pizza from Rogans and The Nines.

Small world indeed :D

<sigh> Anyone have a phone number for Shrink? I just *know* that once he picks the proxies will fire and we'll be back in action! 8)

Course, if he's on the west coast, he's probably still working, perhaps w/o net access. :(

Definitely not a home run hitting team but very good starters. Probably a pitchers park?
