My question is, how did you get Collins, Cobb, Simmons and Musial in the draft? It is hard enough to get just Cobb, or Just Simmons, or Just Collins. Those are all #1 guys on a draft card. What is your secret?

You rock!

Why would you spend all that dough on the bullpen when you already have that starting pitching?

4 relievers over 800,000 is ridiculous. :D

That's my Dream Team. It was finally my turn and I wanted to do something completely different (for me). This is my first time using Brett and Cobb, and I think my 2nd or 3rd time with Simmons. Thought I'd try a bunch of guys who can hit in ANY park, stick 'em in Forbes, pick what I thought were the best/most value sub $1mil pitchers, and see what happened: I've been gone a month so have just now been able to tweak the lineups, settings & rotation, etc. I hope I can squeeze some more production out of them. :D

This hitting team thing can be fun! Pete who??

To give you even more offense, you could waive Spear and pick up Buckner to give you some POP off the bench!

At the moment, here are my lineups--

vs LHP
1. Wagner, Honus (R) SS
2. Collins, Eddie (L) 2B
3. Dimaggio, Joe (R) CF
4. Simmons, Al (R) LF
5. Cochrane, Mickey (L) C
6. Brett, George (L) 3B
7. Cobb, Ty (L) RF
8. Musial, Stan (L) 1B
9. Pitcher P

vs RHP
1. Cobb, Ty (L) RF
2. Cochrane, Mickey (L) C
3. Musial, Stan (L) 1B
4. Brett, George (L) 3B
5. Dimaggio, Joe (R) CF
6. Wagner, Honus (R) SS
7. Collins, Eddie (L) 2B
8. Simmons, Al (R) LF

My lineups are always in a constant state of flux, I adjust them every 15-20 games or so based on how they are actually performing. Stan was hitting .233 with a .270 OBP vs LHP, so down he goes, Al was doing slightly bettter against RHP so he's in the eight-spot. I do this with all my teams. I will rarely have the same lineup throughout the season, unless I happen to get it right off the bat. All part of managing, IMO.
