Yes, as soon as we get all of the cuts I will send out a league update for everyone to load which will have updated rosters and all of the cuts in the Free Agent area. 8)

I have only Paul Abbott. Should I use his Major League or Multi? He will be a minor leaguer for me and hopefully I won't need to use him at all.

Actually as I look at his cards, the major league version has the more innings. I'm going to just stick with that one if that's Ok.

I had mentioned earlier, since I was going to take the Red Sox, that conflicts could occur. I think if the player is listed on the major league roster, the manager should be able to pick between the major league or multi card. Players appear on the major league roster of the team they appeared with most. He should be that teams property.

We have people on vacation until the 23rd of this month so we are still on hold in terms of starting the season until then. With that being said if everyone else can get their cuts in we should be ready to go on the 24th. :D 8) :D

Just read the latest constitution.
A few questions:

Randy Johnson was picked by ktoe and his Phillies. What happens next year when Randy becomes a Yankee? Who gets him? If its ktoe, what do the Yanks get in exchange?
Same question, if a player who is on a 2004 roster, goes to someone elses 2005 roster.

If one of the 2 managers is unavailable to play via netplay, can we play the games on our computer?
Is lack of response by Wed evening or lack of a prior e-mail notifiation of absence, considered unavailable?

There is a weekly schedule, but games will be autoplayed monthly and weekly. What determines which will be done?

Here is the rule from the constitution...

[b:8527fb575d]2A. Franchise – Future years

You begin with your entire 40 man roster protected.

Franchise move - You will be allowed to exchange up to three players who have a card for your franchise and are not on anyone else’s roster for one of your current 40 players.[/b:8527fb575d]

In your example Randy Johnson will stay with ktoe until he either trades or drops him. If this rule is not written clearly I am open to some to suggestions on how to make it more clear.


In regards to playing games I think what Major Deegan menitoned about busy weeks and having the opportunity to make up games makes sense so I came up with a little different schedule. Here is the part of the constitution that covers this...

All teams will participate in a 162-game balanced schedule within their respective divisions. Each team will play 18 games VS every other team in the league. All games will be played head-to-head via Netplay using the most current version of Strat-o-matic Computer Baseball (SOM), with the following exceptions:

Games are played in one month periods. In each month you will play a Home and away series VS every other team in the league. The Commissioner’s office will send out an updated file each Monday including all games played and a list of games that still need to be played that month. ***Please do not begin play on Mondays until you have received the latest league update and restored it to your game.*** When the month is over the commissioners office will auto play all games that managers were not able to get in using the latest Computer manager settings the two managers have submitted. It is the responsibility of the Home Team managers to send each series' game files to the rest of the league after completing each series.
