I love it; The amusing aspect of it far outwieghs the destruction it does to the competitiveness of the league.

It's just so darn funny to see the meltdown- and let's face it, we can ALL identify with the feeling.


I remember in the Army, we were passing the time playing RISK and this guy freaked, threw the board, quit in a babyish rage- we were in tears, we were laughing so hard; he NEVER lived it down.

Everytime we saw him we'd say "I QUIT" in this baby huey voice; it still makes me laugh.

Can't you just hear him..."I hate you Ty Cobb, your off my team forever, and so are you Maury Wills", as he slaps his saugage-like digits on the keyboard; his middle aged gut heaving in rage, "your all fired"

His wife, "What's wrong honey, Is your game not going well"

He screams back, "Shut up; you never loved me, it was always Hank from the country club- I hate you AND this stupid game"

I look at it as an unselfish act of egalitarian philanthropism. How often have you seen the Jolly's, Moore's and Kresses of the world on a roster? Never! With the glory that was ATGII set to fade away, is it not proper to give these poor, forgotten souls their chance? Should we not applaud this man for having the courage to give an opportunity to all those players usually relegated to the WW in every league? Eternal benchwarmers, about to be marginalized even more with the advent of ATGIII, finally getting that ONE chance to prove that, yes, they too have what it takes to make it in the Show.

Does this not appeal to all of us who have ever been picked last, or not at all, or forced to sit on the bench, game after game, watching as your more talented teamates revel in the joy of playing this beautiful game, while you silently fester away on the end of the pine, outwardly happy for your team, inwardly seething and heartbroken, praying for Coach to put you in for just one out?

I say we salute this brave and generous man for having the courage to be that coach, for just one part of one season, at least, and bring joy to these unfortunate players' hearts.

Maybe Munich is right,give these guys their day in the sun,see if they can deliver in the clutch,maybe then will have a true measure of their worth and they will become valued assets and shred selections NAH!!! The guy tanked and now the division and league he is in tainted,its like if he can't win, then i'll ruin it for everyone else. The baseball gods won't forgive this.

He is also a players manager. With 6 catchers on the roster, no one has to put on all that gear more than 2 innings on a hot summer day. :D

This guy makes Kriff look like an angel . I have ripped apart a few teams in my career but never anything like this . This guy should be banned ...forever .
