Hak,

I have Campbell, Burgmeier, Clear and Stanley that I am willing to part with -- I need a first baseman.

What are you thinking? Send me a PM and let me know what you'd consider. Thanks,

Sean

I have Horner available at 1B or 3B, although right now I intend to start him at 1B. Also, Jacoby. Need a SS, among other things.........

Free Agents

Postby BC Manager » Sun Jul 16, 2006 10:34 am

With the Rangers and Mariners left over, that makes the following players FA's who anyone can claim:

[b:07788cc1ef]Pitchers[/b:07788cc1ef]

Butcher
Comer
Darwin
Honeycutt
Hough
Johnson
Kern
Schmidt
Andersen
Bannister
Beattie
Black
Gleaton
Rawley

[b:07788cc1ef]Hitters[/b:07788cc1ef]

Bell
Grubb
Oliver
Putnam
Rivers
Roberts
Sample
Sundberg
Tolleson
Wills
Bochte
Cruz
Henderson
Meyer
Paciorek
Zisk

You must keep these players on your roster to maintain their rights. You cannot drop them and 'reserve' them on your 'farm team'. And of course you cannot keep them for next year.

There's no limit of how many of these players you put on your draft card. If you want to go through the autodraft with all Rangers and Mariners that's fine (since you automatically get the players from your two team -- except those shared by another team for 1981).

League name

Postby BC Manager » Sun Jul 16, 2006 10:43 am

So, any of the East teams can start the league once they've put their draft card together. Make sure 1981 is in the league name.

I guess this league needs a better name than "two-team decade keeper". Do we want to call it The Franchise League or are there other ideas?

Several suggestions

Paired Franchise League - PFL
Dual Franchise League - DFL
Twofold Franchise League - TFL
BiPolar Franchise League - BFL
Double Franchise League - DFL
Two-base Franchise League - TFL

I like Two-Base Franchise League because it is different. And we each have two base teams (any many two-base hits)

Guys, I am not going to be able to look at this til tonight, but I am interested in trading for pitching.

Crossing, I understand, I really want him too, but I will consider it.

Sean, I am definately interested, lets talk tonight.

Website Update

Postby bjs73 » Sun Jul 16, 2006 1:01 pm

All the eastern teams are published as well as the autodraft lists for the extra teams and also the players that appeared on more than one team.

I'll get the other team reports in by tonight or tomorrow.
