The Yankee teams all contain the players we want to use. What's the big deal?

This is team #8 out of around 20 expected teams. Even if there is another Yankee team, there will still be 17 or so non-Yankee teams added. Maybe we need to have some "Beat up on the Yankees" themes to get the big market complex worked out?

OK, then I will take the Yankees in a Beat Up The Yankees Theme. I BLEED PINSTRIPES.... :D To truly try to beat them up, make it a $200M Cap.

Why not go with some true reality and let the Yankees have their $200m, give a few teams the $100m cap, then scatter the rest between $80, $60, and $50m. Does that sound true enough? :wink:

PJ, that works for me. Realism at its finest!!!! :lol: :wink: Unfortunately I would rather have an equal cap. OK if it must make it $100M.

I don't care as much about the teams as the players. We don't pick whole teams, we pick individual players. If you don't like the Yankees, don't pick them. It shoud be easier to get the players you like on other teams then. I think more Hall of Famers deserve to be represented. The inclusion of another Yankee team gives me some hope that some key players who are not represented now because of overlap of players/teams will now be represented. Gabby Hartnett, Jim Bottomley, Johnny Mize, Arky Vaughan, Billy Williams, and yes another Yankee team so we can have a good Dave Winfield. Better Marichal, Gaylord Perry etc.

I'm a Yankee hating Met fan. But how could anyone complain about this team??

The catching trio is unbelievable. Blanchard has a monster card.

Now we need some 60's style pitching teams. 64 Philles for starters. BTW the '64 Cards should be replaced by the '68 version. Oh, and let's send the '56 Yankees to the recycle bin.

great pick! Been wanting this team since BEFORE the '56 team was added! I'll take Maris in RF - should hit about .230-.260 and 50-60 hrs! Must be a + clutch tooooo :) - Got my RF'er! bye bye Ellis :(.
