[quote:0c50b5d1d4="mrmdoetkott"]Burns is 1-2 after three starts. One good, one awful and one that would qualify as a quality start just barely. My entire pitching staff is struggling including Clemens. 94 IP 106 hits 4.75 ERA with a WHIP of 1.48. Right handed batters are hitting .323 against him. Hopefully he will turn things around.
As for Burns, I am happy with what I've got out of him so far.

After 6 starts, Burns is gone. 2-3 record with an ERA of 7.48 and a WHIP of 1.84. Lefties are hitting .346 and righties .351 against him. Time to try something different.
By the way, I have Clemens and Soto in this rotation and they are getting hammered as well. The are number 1 and 2 respectively in the number of earned runs allowed after 66 games.
Clemens has an ERA of 4.99 with a WHIP of 1.51 and Soto has an ERA of 5.32 with a WHIP of 1.50. Soto has K'd 134 batters in 111.67 IP. I think I have his '82 card.
What did I do to HAL to deserve this?
If I didn't mention it before, I am playing in Fenway and I know some of you are going to tell me the ball park has a lot to do with it. That may have a little validity, but I play most of my teams in Fenway and Clemens five years on his card are all Fenway. The dice have to turn around, don't they?
