National Women's Movement Scheduled for Cleveland's Opening

(CLEVELAND) After team owner Semper "Hooty" Gumby announced the opening series promotion of "Hooray for the Boobies" the country's largest women equality association (NOW) also announced its protest of the Cleveland's squad opening games.
"We can't imagine in the 21st century that any professional organization would slide so low to promote a sexually slanted program to generate interest in its embattled club" remarked I.M. Adyke-WhatareU, NOW chapter spokesperson. "We had hoped the Cleveland club would just draw fans to its park by putting a quality organization together rather than using "Hooray for the Boobies" bobblehead to draw a crowd. This is a sad day for the NLD!" she continued.
All calls to the Cleveland club were not returned but league sources told the paper that the club will probably not cancel its promotional tie in with the Hooters establishment but will also ink a deal with Playboy to feature playmates of the past. :shock:
