LOTO Tourney League "D"

Postby KEVINEHLE » Tue Jul 11, 2006 2:52 pm

Hey Jeep and DctCpa---we are all about the same. We're all just barely treading water with our boring .500 records. However, Jeep is on a roll lately!! .....and sadly it all started by beating up my team!!

Well I didn't pass the test last night, in fact a big fat "F" was my grade after dropping 3 games to Lovin, the last two games by a 23-3 combined score.

HUGE !!! series tonight! It's Jeep vs Doctrcpa. At stake is 3rd place in the Central Division. Even more importantly, a sweep by one of us leads to a > .500 record.

Gee I love being tied for the worse record in the league so far.

Wonder if this team will wake up? :(

Hey Andrew, my team is headed your way......downward!! I've lost 9 of 12  and finally dumped that stinkin' Pedro!!! $8.5Million of ill-spent money!! I just picked up the oft time over-performing Jason Johnson and picked up Mark Ellis to stop some balls at 2b and to get on base to perhaps help revive my team.
If not, I might as well plan on doing some golfing immediately after the regular season ends. 8) 8)

Wo Robvoz. You've been reading my personal info?? I should take the Marathon running blurp off my site since I really don't want people to know I'm insane!! By the way, I will be seeing you down in Phoenix in January at the Rock N Roll Marathon. My wife and I go down there every January for the event. Last year I ran the half marathon (with 18,000 other people  ).
We typically climb Camelback mountain, eat Joes BBQ in Gilbert, eat custard at Neilsens in Gilbert, and sit by the pool at our friend's house in the Northwest Valley (near Lake Pleasant). The perfect long weekend!! :D :D
I expect to see you running out there with us!!

I woke up this morning, actually my 10-month old had me up from 1:30-3:45 this morning and decided to check boxscores earlier than usual. I found 2 shocking things:
1. My team has a winning record for the first time all year!
2. I am in second place in my division.

Chuck

P.S. I am fully aware that I have just jinxed myself. The crystal ball says a sweep loss tonight and a return to the cellar.

Man two key injuries to my pitching staff, Wang and Eldred, the latter my most effective reliever and innings eater. Had to p/u cheapo Lawrence to start tonight...couldn't let scheduled starter Street start because that would leave me two in the pen, Torres and Villone.

I have been hit with tons of pitcher injuries in the past two weeks, and long injuries, those that completely mess up your staff.

What's up with that?! :x
