Also, I live in S.C as most of you know. We are stocked full of Military bases here...Fort Jackson, Parris Island and Shaw AFB (home of the F-16's*)...so we are ready for anything Semper can throw at us. :D

Bucket of Balls for Jeep

Postby Semper Gumby » Thu Jul 20, 2006 9:47 am

S.C.?

Hell, I now have a utility purpose for my bucket of golf balls now. I can play a few rounds of putt-putt golf at Myrtle Beach with them perhaps we can chip a few off Jeep's Jeeps.

Of course, I may lose out on the golf balls to [b:f1c988d03e]Sandy[/b:f1c988d03e] who swears he knows a few things about the sounds that balls and clubs make when they meet. Not sure, I do or even want to know how he knows about balls and clubs.

Heck, the last time I goofed with my brother-in-law someone asked me my "handicap" before establishing the "foursome" splits. My curt but sincere response: "tall women leggy redheads with large ta tas who smell good sort of like your wife." I haven't been invited back since.

Now that we're full, here's my 6 players in order:

J. Hernandez
Repko
N. Logan
Lawrence
Romero
Eaton

Obviously all scubs for the most part...anyone else care to share?

Trifecta

Postby Semper Gumby » Thu Jul 20, 2006 11:10 am

Well, I honestly don't remember my card because I filled it out a LONG time ago :D

However, I "thinks" I had Joe's card but this might work too

[list:3ec716d482]Munter
Dourmit
Elarton
Hairston
Harpe (????)
Perez, A[/list:u:3ec716d482]

But, while I wait to tee off on the Eastern Division pitching, I'm warming up at the cage with my club. If you need to practice too - please take a few swings on my behalf

I think my 5 of 6 were:

D. Davis (had to take him after JeepDriver said Davis always killed his teams ;))
B. Fuentes
C. Hammond
M. Carvajal or T. Sturtze
T. Womack

Not sure whom the last player was. :?

[quote:5a88187e58]I remembered him or maybe Chuck Tanner doing that switch[/quote:5a88187e58]

Hey, Wineman and I were at that game! Tanner brought in a LHP to face Darrell Evans and moved Tekulve to LF. Evans flew out to Tekulve to end the game! I didn't like that the Giants lost, but it was kind of cool to see!

AT, looks like we'll be dueling for Hammond. I think we had him #3 on our card too. :(

I think it went like this:
Kapler
Hocking
Hammond

Three other names, but they are guys we likely won't keep anyway.

That's it! Very cool. 8) Thanks for finding that Semper!

I remember it was a frustrating game and after looking at it again, it certainly was. :(

Well, we got the players we wanted through waivers. Sorry about that AT.
