Looks like I will have some players available. Wallach, Valentine, Larry Parrish are available for future considerations.
I am looking to move either Gullickson or Mark Davis as well.
I may be a little so to finalize anything b/c I am at the end of vacation w/o my notes/printouts, etc.

Dumb questions

Seems like I stiill don't get all details , intracacies etc. of this league.
My question: Cal Ripken's card starts in 1983. So I thought I couldn't use him in 1981, but bjs's directory lists him as available for 1981. Was I wrong, or is he right??? :oops:

The cards mean NOTHING. If Cal was on a MLB roster in 1981 you can use him. This is how it is different than the decade league. Cal can play for you all decade. That is one of the reason BAL is a sweet pick. You also have some decent pitching for the decade and Eddie Murray too. The O's were one of the top teams on my list.
As much as it pains me to say it. bjs is correct. bjs is ALWAYS correct, you can see that by the accuracy of his manifesto. Also don't piss him off or a hooded figure may visit you some dark and misty evening.

I did not intent to anger bjs, who is a nice guy, a VERY nice guy and a great, very GREAT manager :wink: , as ALL the managers in this league are.. pooh (was that enough kissing of behinds?). Anyway, now that the Ripken situation is cleared, I have Dejesus available, as are Bowa and co in the future!
