I've received the password.

I've sent a message to both the Bombers and the hitmen. Need response on whether I can drop a player and pick a cheaper one. If not I 'll go ahead and enter the East.

DOES ANYONE WHISH TO TRADE A CHEAPER STARTING PITCHER FOR A RON REED OR DICK SELMA.

DOES ANYONE WISH TO TRADE A $3M - $4.75 RANGE SS FOR DENNIS MENKE.

Bob, normally drops are not allowed in live drafts unless they are absolutely necessary. If you can enter a team, you should do so and make any adjustments during waivers.

However, this is your first live draft.

Bob, Just don't list one or more of the players you live drafted on your autodraft list and try to pick up some lower priced players to take their place in the autodraft. This is in effect dropping your players and adding from the free agent pool.

Normally I am a stickler for the 'unwritten' rules of drafting.

I think we should put who we have drafted on our draft cards. There are some players I would not mind swapping, as I have two 3rd Baseman and TWO first-baseman, and no DH spot. I still should put them all on my card.

If it is for cap reasons, then there can be a change. and I guess we could give Bob a break on this one, it is his first live draft, and he has been awefully dilligent about trying to keep the draft going with his comp stuff happening. :D

I don't mind either way. 8)

I agree with Hooner that this is a time for leniency.

Looking at my draft strategy...I'm an idiot. Getting the good cheap RP is a good idea in ATGII, where the hitting depth is solid, but I may have the first team to score less than 500 runs in 1969.

Trey, I have Brooks Robinson and W. Horton to deal.

Or I could trade Killebrew or Epstein, but would need similar value in return.

If interested, PM me.

As this league may have a large number of managers who may not know me at all, I feel I should give a quick summary of my background.

1) This isn't my first live draft. In fact I'm very experienced in live drafts. The truth is that I've held ATG Live drafts with help being given on the administration. I've also participated in many ATG live drafts.

This is my first Pennegray site draft.

2) The real problem was that I didn't know I was going to be away on the weekend and all Live Drafts have no time clock on the weekend so I should have elected to not leave proxies but I thought that even though I don't like leaving proxies except for 1 rd at a time it looked like I could do it and thereby the draft could continue.

3) I recognize that LM Bombers did me a favor and did it well by following my instructions. However, the problem with leaving proxies for multiple rds is that the cap isn't watched as it would be if I were doing it.

For my pick that I got Lolich, I also had listed a wide range of starters going down to $2M. If I had drafted Lolich I would have likely reevaluated the next picks where in leaving instructions I had to limit the data I was leaving.

Unless a trade is offered I'm going to enter my team as it is. I think I would be better off if I could trade 1 or 2 playeres for lower priced players but isn't a disaster having my team as is.

bob as far as I'm concerned, you can take other players as long as they werent drafted instead of one player you drafted
