Good lord--the player pool is going to be massive. Its hard to even fathom the number of options that are going to be out there. Its going to be very interesting to see which players become the new studs/bargains.

Looks like Eddie will be able to go down for 15.

Hey, what's with all these 'olden days' teams? Let's have some more modern ones! You know, players we are familiar with!

I haven't said a word about the new teams, and granted this is a very good choice but to go from an Eddie Collins who can't get hurt and still hit great and play great defense to an Eddie Collins who hits better but can go down for 15 games is not an upgrade in my opinion. I SINCERELY hope the powers at TSN rethink this move concerning Eddie. :(

[quote:b1c385f684="tkl33"]Jack Lapp will be one of the most sought after players off this team...if he gets a card.[/quote:b1c385f684]

He will have to be expensive. I see in his Bio that he died at age 36.

This is a team worthy of being in an All time Great set. It also was the best year choice for the A's of this period. I could debate swapping out the Eddie Collins card, since his 1919 is a fair representation of who he was over his career, but this team belongs in ATG.
