Hey Joel,

When you open up this Message Board, you should see a big blue and/or white envelope in the upper left-hand corner of your screen. This is a private message that includes the name of the league ("Redding In Coors") and the password. Click on it and you'll see the league name and password needed to join the league.

In order to complete your entry into the league, you will need to complete your 25-man list and the ranking. BE SURE TO USE COORS FIELD!

Send me a message here or call me if you need help.

ChiSox blow another one and the Cubs...well, you know...

Bob,

I tried to enter the league with password of b...o but I was rejected. Not sure what to do. My home email is joelchrista@foxvalley.net if someone wants to mail me the password to join the East. My name is 69Cubs- not Cubs69. The envelope in the upper left corner is now gone.

I talked Joel (69Cubs) through team entry into our league. The passsword that was provided did not seem to work - can you advise if there were any capitalized letters or other oddities mixed within the password?

Did anyone else (Eastern Division) have an issue with signing up?

Thanks!!!
Bob

Last one in the West should hold off entering until Sunday so we can get the desired start date of 8/7. Doesn't sound like everyone would be ready to start on 7/31.

Bump:
JUST IN CASE SCENARIO:
If it happens that some of the teams can't make it to the $75M minimum
even when maxing out their rosters, I think we would need a quick fix. What do you guys think if those teams would have to supplement their payroll with a SP (no relief) with enough salary to bridge to $75M and must keep that pitcher out of the rotation? I'm not sure of any other way of doing it without teams being able to add better pitching to their rosters.

I don't think anyone will have trouble with the $75 draft card. Are we saying that HAL won't allow the league to start if everyone does not reach $75 mil when the draft is actually ran?

Gene, that is where I'm fuzzy. I don't know. If there is a $75M minimum, HAL may add payroll to the pitching staffs during the autodraft in which the owner may not get rid. Pitching staffs can't exceed $12M and will probably be around $8M for most which means that all the teams would need around $68M in hitting to hit minimum. I'm not sure if this is entirely possible.
I've never ran across a minimum salary issue before, so I don't know how it works. I'm hoping it's not a big deal, but I would like to have a contigency in place in case it is an issue after the autodraft.
