It was nice of Oil Can to come in and give up a bases-clearing double before getting the last out. Just to make sure Gossage pays for every baserunner.

man, you might as well cut the goose loose. he don't throw 4.2 innings in a week and a half much less one game. and then to top it off, 114 pitches for the goose!! in 4.2 innings!! get out of dodge! no way!! he's done for the year. he shot his wad in one game. if you keep him, watch out for the "roids"!! & the peace pipe!!! he'll be in the ice bath for the next 3 months! still love the mustache though.
