Need a #4 SP for < $3.01M

The lil' professor is my leadoff. And I'm not complaining. What I need is for the rest of my team to hit some (i.e. Clemente/Cochrane).

Looks like I am a bit late to this discussion, but 4th SP is the least of your team's worries IMHO. OBP of .316 and average running speed of 13.4 (assume Hutton/Bev at 1B ) are much more serious issues.

Your RS/RA is -39 (approx), so you are actually a bit lucky, should have 46 not 49 wins. You are last in RS by nearly 50, average less than 3.5 RPG and have an ERA at 3.5. Your team has a .351 SLG and run eff of 90% is pretty low, lack of team speed and SBs contribute to this low number.

Any cheap 4th SP will struggle when you average less than 3.5 RPG, Tim's suggestion for a leadoff man is pretty accurate, but not much available. Hope I am wrong but a bad streak is certainly possible.

Best of luck, sschu

I'm not done yet.

I have Gantner.

Not to mention my league has Forbes/Candlestick/Griffith. My pitching will come around and save me, just in time for my offense to heat up.
