Rick Helling = Bad Luck

[quote:6014a1a41b]Additionally, if I'm not mistaken, Bernie has then taken those fatigue penalties and made them harsher, in order to prevent reliever overusage. So, although I'm not gonna diagnose this specific case, I think it's quite possible in general that an underperforming reliever could be overused, even if the problem is HR allowed.[/quote:6014a1a41b]

Perhaps we can persuade TSN to inform us as to what "rules" are implemented into the online game.

Under the old forum postings, I painstakingly mapped most of the known or highly suspected TSN settings (HR rob rule on or off???) to the CD-ROM which seemed helpful to me when I tried to war-game a season using my CD-ROM.

Otherwise, I learn something every day here.

I found this thread via search, thinking of putting Helling as a big innings eater (180 or so), to cover the 6th & 7th. My reasoning is that I am not having the success I had with the 2004 cards in using cheaper pitchers effectively in the pen. I'm tired of trying to get the right mix and match with these cards.

On the other hand, my lone 2005 card set playoff team, included Heilman. He chewed up inning, and HAL loved to bring him into games.

I have been under the assumption that RPs were only subject to board game rules in regard to fatigue. The dot becoming SINGLE** as per the rules (i.e. an R3 would rarely become fatigued).

Have we confirmed that the pitch count system is in place?
