John Law - Yes, the goal is to play 2 Seasons, then continue with another 2-3 when the new cards come out next March/April.

A couple of things:

1) Yes, Jeeps [b:1e79dee161]CAN[/b:1e79dee161] reproduce, but Mrs. Jeep and I decided to only go with 2 Jeeps in the family, IOW no little Jeeps (aka rugrats) running around. :D

2) Do we [b:1e79dee161]HAVE[/b:1e79dee161] to keep 6 players. The following rule can be interpreted to mean less than 6 would be ok. I ask cause I'm having a hard time getting 6 players I want to keep. :cry:

"1 - All teams can protect 6 Players worth up to $50m"

I don't think anybody would be interested in anyone else from my team. It was obviously built for '05, not '06.

And here I thought Jeeps were the offspring of mini-vans and pickup trucks, and thus like mules, could not reproduce. ;)

All kidding aside - re: 6 Keepers - I think in the best interest of the league all owners should keep 6 players - that way every owner will have the same # of Autodraft spots to use (13). Owners can keep whomever they want, and can release any of their keepers after the autodraft runs - so if you want to fill the last spot with a scrub that is fine.

And of course what one owner may plan to discard another owner might find useful - so trading is always an option. :)
