TRADE ISSUE

Postby bjs73 » Sun Jul 23, 2006 10:01 pm

I replied in the league email concerning the Tony Armas '81-'86 (sean) trade for Manny Trillo '81-'83 [jsamia].

Trillo is active on Montreal AND Cleveland in 1983 making him autodraft eligible that year. (Check the "duplicates" link in 1983 and you'll see it.)

The Cleveland manager has to disclaim the 1983 Trillo Season or the trade is invalid...unless it is reworked.

Let me know here on the boards one way or the other. Thanks.

Trillo

Postby jsam9801 » Mon Jul 24, 2006 8:15 am

bjs73:

When I made the deal, I explained that I was trading the rights to Trillo in 1983 as an Expo, but because he also played for Cleveland that year, Sean would need to claim him on waivers.

I think that the deal should still be fine, with the understanding that Trillo is up for grabs in 1983, subject to the priority waiver claim.

It's all good. Trillo is now autodraft eligible in '83 for the A's. I'll post the website later.

Rosters up to date.

Postby bjs73 » Tue Jul 25, 2006 5:21 pm

As of Hak's latest trade for Rozema.

I changed the format from a report to a table. Sorry, no subtotals or grand totals with this style right now. But the organization is the same.

QUESTION:

When you view the site, do you expect to be able to print out the roster onto paper or is what I am doing fine?

I'm thinking of jazzing it up a little bit in the future and making it a little more easy to get around but for now it is a simple point click and publish.

i printed my last roster but it,s just as easy to just go to the site and look at everybodys at the same time,so, to me it,s good.really nice but if you want to play around with it and "jazz it up a bit"go right ahead ....but i think its good just the way it is...thx.

Give me feed back on load times, broken links, or other issues when viewing ablert's rosters. I'm experimenting. Things like load time - tell me what kind of connection you have. Viewing - tell me the size of your monitor and what resolution you run in. I can try to tweak it if necessary.

Tell me what you think or make fun of albert - whichever seems best to you. :P

(Sucks having a name that starts with the letter "a?")

This is a little less busy than version. Still nice. Should be a bit better to focus on the rosters.

Sweet!!! Great job, BJ. Where'd you find all the pics from? And how much is all this gonna cost me????

I swear that pic of Candelaria looks just like a dude I went to high school with. And that pic of Tekulve looks like a teacher I had back in HS. Also, that's gotta be a pic of the YOUNG "Cobra" on 1981 page....kinda like Young Elvis and Fat Elvis.....could hardly tell they're the same people :D

Thanks a million BJ. It really adds a lot to our league that you did this.
