NL Only League / 60 mil Cap & Live Draft

Glad to see we are up and running...a little confusing to see ALL players there and having to refer to which players are from the NL....I was pretty up on baseball in the early 70s so for the most part, I know from recognition of the names but still have to open up many players..
Although Freddy Patek to me is always a Royal, Al Downing always a Dodger, etc. etc. etc.

Hey I am going to Buffalo Grove for a Bat Mitzvah for my wife's side...was only 1/2 kidding about a mini-strat meeting.....going to be tough for me to pull away especially with all 3 kids with us too!!!
What is the disance forom Midway to Buffalo Grove, Riggo (approximately)... flying into Midway at about 9PM local time Friday night so if you want to pick me up and make me get rid of the rental car!! :lol:

We're waiting for Bubury, Brool, Jack373, and TRich. [b:b9f5237591]Brool [/b:b9f5237591]posted yesterday, so presumably he's got proxies ready to fire when Bunbury picks.
Anyone know how to get in touch with Bunbury, Jack373, or TRich to confirm that they know draft is underway?

A rookie question for anyone....
After the 10 round live draft is over, we will fill out our autodraft cards. Are the 10 live drafted players placed on the top 10 slots of the autodraft card, or the bottom 10? If the 15 undrafted players are put in the top slots, is there ever any problem with autodraft conflict resolution ending up assigning you someone that was taken in the live draft?

Jay...you put the players on the bottom of your draft card...and if you list the guy who you drafted (and no one else should because they KNOW they are the property of someone else) you will automatically get those 10 players
Hey it would help us if you put the 10 reserved guys on the top because then we would essentially have 10 free rounds of higher rankings of other players than you :)
On another note, my proxies are in for Rounds 2 and 3 but I can't do any more than that yet in this kind of draft and after 5PM today, I will not be looking at this site for another 24 hours (Yom Kippur)...
Then I will be away from Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon so we we don't pick up the pace just a little bit, this will be a very long 10 rounds!

Keep in mind that the autodraft will be kinda dangerous. Some of the NL players that you draft will be replaced by AL players (if you miss the pick) that you will have to drop after waivers. Once the AutoDraft has run, we're likely to be sorting through total garbage in the Free Agent pile.
IMO, it's very important the you get your key NL players (i.e., high salary) during the live draft on penn's website.
