As for me... I carry the worst offense by lots and lots of room, even after a couple of massacres yesterday I still have the leagues best Whip, the second best record...and I trail you by 8 games

I just hope my dudes can keep making some of that smoke and mirrors stuff they been putting together. But it'll be tough.

I'm coming off a poor week, going 8-13. I feel like my record should be better, but I still can't get my reliever's to post some shutout innings, and my "O" should be scoring more runs.

Congrats to "El Duque" on one of the finer SP performances all season.

btw, for biggest hitting surprise of the season my vote goes to Granderson and his 41 HR's. (we've played 105 games) I know this is a Hitter's League, but that is an over-performance if I've ever seen one.

A tough challenge (is that redundant? ) for my squad tonight invading the home of the best team in the league, Jerry's Bombers. He now has the #1 offense and a darn good set of SP's who lead the league in Complete Games (4) which for all under 1M that's excellent.

Meanwhile, I'm still in the race because no one from my Division has stepped it up yet. Who, if anyone, will go on a winning streak and take control of this Division?

This is the Pitching Line I've been talking about, which has been the NORM, not the exception:

Risks IP H R ER BB SO HR PC ERA
R.Hernandez 6 4 2 [b:639ddd1abc]2[/b:639ddd1abc] 1 3 0 68 5.94
M.Gonzalez 1 1/3 2 3 [b:639ddd1abc]3[/b:639ddd1abc] 3 3 0 33 4.64
S.Shields W(5-7) BS(5th) 1 2/3 3 [b:639ddd1abc]3 [/b:639ddd1abc] 3 1 2 1 40 5.49
Totals 9 9 8 8 5 8 1

As you can see, my starter Runleveys Hernandez allows 2 ER in 6 IP. My two expensive RP's, Gonzalez and Shields gives up 6 ER in 3 IP. And this is typical! How can you explain this?!

Just wanted to check in with our sister league. Sounds like JeepDriver is in the thick of things as usual - hopefully his pitching problems will be solved in time!

Btw, if you're not yet tired of getting beaten up on a regular basis by the JeepMeister, feel free to join a Dunk JeepDriver league - only 2 spots left! :)

Cool - I tightened things up a bit in our Division last night. I could have just about been out of it had I not did the sweep. Still below 500 though, so no time for [i:a4f86df8c4]too [/i:a4f86df8c4]much optimism.
