Odd Ending

I have never seen this one before.

I win 4-1, and out hit 12-4, only had 1 RBI....and the ending was even stranger than that.....Check it out.

**OK Strato veterans, I haven't seen a Double Play on and Appeal before.....ever! It just happened to happen with bases loaded in the 9th in a potential comeback for the hitting team.
Is there a new situational event on the split charts or on the players cards??? or is this something a bored programmer threw together?
Hmmm.

I don't have any of the fielding charts or anything but the situation sounds like it was a sacrifice fly and the runner was called safe at the plate. The fielding team appealed to the 3B ump and the runner was called out because the ump thought he left the bag early. Game Over.

What an ending.

This one should be sent in as game of the week for sure!

I remember seeing that Strat added "special plays" to the gaming engine within the last couple of years! This would fall into that category for sure! J Law

I almost took it as a steal home and strike out,
Runner out at the plate and an appeal on third strike (bat crossing the plate). But the Sac Fly and appeal prob. makes more sense.

I think I will put this towards the game of the week though.
