ATG III Team Teasers #12 & 13

Nice '79 Pirates! I wonder what Tekulve's card will look like. Moreno should be interesting. Probably a 1 in CF (I think his arm was weak though-can't remember), AAA steal rating, .333 obp. Might be a useful option

Moreno had an ok arm, a 0 at best but more like a +1

[quote:051fffd7ae]Bernie : anyway of also releasing ball park ratings with teams ?[/quote:051fffd7ae]

Sportsman's Park 14,14,19,4
1979 is not a SA set so can't give you those #'s

Someone mentioned Moreno's D, he is a 1 e13 0 arm. 8)

I would have liked to see Stargell on the '79 team. A great season (he was co-MVP, and playoff and WS MVP) but given his high price tag, I think he would have been more used as a 1B than as an OF with a 3 range. Kind of a second tier Gehrig.

now Phillies, Phillies, Phillies!

What possible reason on earth would make you choose the 1920 team over the 1922 team. THAT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!!!!!!!!

'22 is not a SA set where '20 I believe is.

If the ATGIII Family is anything like the actual '79 Bucs card-set, "Hammer" Milner will be an awesome pick for DH in Dunn or other lefty-centric field. His card was one of the best lefty hitter vs. lefty pitcher cards I've ever seen (only Ben Oglivie's '79 card might have been better). Plus, Bill Robinson had a good card, as well as Scrap Iron, and the bullpen was very good (Kent, Grant Jackson, Bibby and Romo).

Quirks-

Clarkstown and Picture Rocks are.[/quote:feb52dcb2c]

Now [b:feb52dcb2c]that's[/b:feb52dcb2c] local!

:)

P.S. Now that Ed Ott's in the game, can Tom O'Malley be far behind?
