Goofy HAL strikes

This is a theme league and one of my games last nite had one of those great HAL decisions....It did not hurt me in any way but---this kind of thing has in the past.........I have Willie Bloomquist on this team and his ONLY function is as a pinch runner....He is in the manager strategy as the one I want to pinch run......What does HAL do?? He pinch runs my BU catcher instead of Bloomquist.......If HAL will not follow your settings why have em?? This kind of thing has to get better or I for one will be long gone.....Like I said it didn't hurt me in this particular game but who know---maybeScabs "R" Us sweep 3 from Santa Fe Scorpions

Damon Hollins left the yard and had 3 RBI as the Scabs "R" Us defeated the
Santa Fe Scorpions in 15 innings by a score of 6 to 5 at Dodger Stadium.

The score was knotted at 2 after nine innings. Scabs "R" won the game in the
15th inning. Jason Kendall singled. Kendall got a great jump and stole
second easily. Fernando Rodney then had one get away for a wild pitch. Sean
Burroughs dug into the batters box next, but he struck out. Angel Berroa
stepped into the box and tripled scoring the run. This was the kind of game
that many fans love as the lead changed hands 5 times.

The win was credited to Brian Meadows(1-0) who went 4 innings allowing 2 runs.
Rodney(0-2) was the losing pitcher in relief.

Explanation of Play-by-Play notation
Consider the following example:

The first "1" means there was 1 out.
The "12" means there were runners on 1st and 2nd.
"A.Pujols" is the batter's name.
The next "2" means the play happened on the 2nd pitch of the at-bat.
"Single" is the result of the play.
"2-H" means the runner on 2nd base scored.
"1-3" means the runner on 1st base advanced to 3rd.
"b-1" means the batter reached 1st base.

Bloomquist steals---He is an A SB rating---Zaun is a D...Go figure.

Larry, what is even funnier....................is that HAL put in Berroa as a Defensive Replacement of Zaun in the 13th inning and.............Berroa doesn't have an outfield rating at all!!! :shock: :shock:
Coincidentally, Bloomquist, who is your speedster off the bench does have an outfield rating!! :shock: :shock:
